asianmatches.com, inc. and suitablematch.com Merge to Form Largest Online Asian Dating & Matrimonial Service in the World
asianmatches.com poised to be premier website for online dating and matchmaking for Asian singles
WALTHAM, Mass. -- asianmatches.com, inc., a leader in online dating, matchmaking and matrimonial services for individuals of Asian origin, today announced that Suitable Match International, Inc. (www.suitablematch.com) a Lexington, Mass.-based firm serving the Asian-Indian community, has merged with asianmatches.com, inc. The financial terms of the merger were not disclosed.
Suitable Match International, a pioneer since 1996 in online matchmaking services, is the oldest and most popular site on the Internet providing matrimonial services to individuals of Asian-Indian origin. The combined companies will retain the name asianmatches.com, inc. The merger has been approved by the share holders and the boards of directors of both companies, and remains subject to regulatory approvals.
"Both companies have synergistic business models, and include world-class executive teams, technical resources and marketing strengths. It really wasa natural fit for the two companies to come together to become the largest and most powerful matchmaking service for all Asians on the Internet," said Narain Bhatia, Founder, President and CEO of Suitable Match International.
Bharat Manglani, Chairman of asianmatches.com, Inc., said that this merger combines the strengths of both firms and puts the new company on a solid footing for the future.

The combined company will have a database of over 10,000 members, 600,000 page views per month, 150,000 unique visitors per month, with an average session length of 15 minutes.
